A boy and his dog

I couldn’t help but post this. Yes I know it’s all over the internet, but having grown up with a pit bull (mix) before folks starting wiggin’ out about them, it sort a strikes close to home.

I wasn’t as young as this little boy, maybe 10 when we got Tasha, my sister was pretty young though (six). Fortunately for her (the dog that is), she wasn’t white and as far as I remember, never got colored on. But, if she had, there’s no doubt that she would have just laid there enjoying the attention as much as this doggy.

It’s a shame these dogs get such a bad wrap. Sometimes, perception isn’t reality. And speaking of perception, much like the markets these days – fear needlessly sets in. Our leaders fail to lead or worse still, feeds the fear to serve one’s agenda, causing further panic and before you know it, we’re all cattle, mindlessly following one another and headed for slaughter.

Fortuntaley for all of us, this too shall pass.  And in time we’ll forget all about it.  Keep the faith folks, if there is one constant, it’s change.  Don’t like our leaders – they’ll change, don’t like the markets – they’ll change, don’t like American Idol anymore – it too will end, in time.
