Re: the “manufactured health care mob” Claire McCaskill seems to get it (via twitter), even though most of her party doesn’t. It gets pretty interesting when the politicians of a representative republic lose their way or perhaps intentionally stop listening to those who elected them.
I try to keep the political posting here to a minimum, it’s not what folks come here for. One reader here likes to prod me about being angry, however, laughing is more like it. Reflecting back to the election, my advice to Obama was to go lead and that seems to be what he’s attempting. Problem is the centrist cloak he wore during the election has been discarded for the progressive he is and Americans are waking up to what they’ve done.I bet it’s going to be an entertaining couple of years around here and the politicians will have to be quick thinkers and even lighter on their feet than normal.
Perhaps political indifference is giving way to political interest, one can hope, but no matter how you slice it the added interest in our political solutions is a good thing.
