So finally, Thunder managed to begin it's season last week and all the practice payed off. It was all Thunder from the start as they took on Rip-Tide on a late Thursday night, by the 3rd inning it was 15-0 Thunder. The night belonged to the pitchers. Devon pitched great, giving up only two walks and mowing them down pretty quickly, while Rip-Tide struggled to find the plate. Out of those 15 runs, Thunder only managed to muster two hits; Megan had a single with a RBI while Nicole managed a double with three RBI's – all the rest were walks or home steals on a past-ball. All-in-all it was a good start for the girls!
